As a trusted, independent body, which receives declarations from public officials and public bodies of their interests in property, income, assets and liabilities, and which also receives and investigates complaints of bribery, or corruption, the Integrity Commission seeks to enhance public confidence in the integrity of all public officials, statutory bodies and state enterprises, and also to create a society which is free from corruption, while respecting the secrecy and confidentiality obligations imposed by the Integrity in Public Life Act.
