Ms. S. Lisa Hazel-Claxton was appointed to the Integrity Commission by Her Excellency, Dame Marcella Althea Liburd, GCMG, JP, Governor General effective 12th March 2025. She was called to the Bar in St. Kitts & Nevis in July 2009 and is the senior partner and co-founder of HazelAlleyne Law Office in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas campus, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom. She attended the Inns of Court School of Law (now The City Law School) and is a member of the Inner Temple Inn, London, United Kingdom, where she was called to the Bar in 2008. She obtained the Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School, Jamaica, in May 2009. Prior to pursuing studies in law, she worked for many years in the area of banking and finance in the Federation.
